It's pretty much a large scale voyager version minus jetpack...I actually really like it but that's because I am a Prime collector. I like his bulk, looks very heroic and leader-like

I'm a Optimus Prime collector I have to get this regardless, but after seeing the review, it won't be any time soon I think. I don't know how I feel about a scaled up voyager, I like the sword and shield though.

I like how the legs transform on that one.

Re: ultimate class bh optimus prime: video review

Picked this up today, and I'm pleasantly surprised with this massive figure. Articulation is decent, and I like the proportions on it better than the voyager version and on the show. The gimmick is interesting but I would've preferred the jet pack. The cleaver and shield look impressive but I wish we got a gatling gun instead. The wrists can't actually swivel though, as the peg inside the forearm is molded to lock it on place. The dragon heads need some sort of paint app though. They are well sculpted but the details fade into the plastic. The missiles are just weird. It is fun to pose and I dig the vehicle mode, even with the gaudy turret.
I really do like this purchase, but honestly it isn't worth the hefty price tag I paid as I'm sure it'll feel like a up scaled knock off to a lot of people. Personally I was a bit gung ho to get this guy in my hands so I probably pulled the trigger on this a bit early but I think it's pretty cool. I regret nothing! lol. (Crosses fingers this goes on sale next week. Could use a price adjustment haha)

Got one today. It's big, it's hollow, the red plastic looks bad (too light), the grey weapons feel cheap (softer grey plastic)... but it's fun, fun, fun. Definitely wait for a sale.
