Thanks Otis! I am thinking about doing a removable helmet but that maybe for the second version I do of this build. This first version is for me to get the basics of what is need to build him.

This is looking great Darth Wave, can't wait to see the final project.
Thanks Ultra Maverick! yeah I thought of using magnets but I'll need to figure out all the different spots to hide them inside the body parts so you won't see them. Still in the works...

Yeah... I may end up using the pegs from the Bionicle parts.

Re: G1 INSPIRED JETFIRE! - 1.0

still lookin' good mang!!!
if i may,a small suggestion, specifically for the legs.
depending on how tall he ends up and for posability purposes, remember to try to add a bit more weight/filler in whatever cavities you have in his legs.it'll help balance him out so when you get his upper bodyand armor done he doesn't flop over backwards.(hotglue/bondo/etc)

Looking awesome.

Might I ask what thickness(es) of styrene you're using?

Thanks for the tip Otis, I took your advice and added some weight to his legs. I filled the cavities with metal washers and then loaded it up with hot glue. I think I used about 3 sticks of glue for each leg... lol.

Thanks Bruticus! I'm using a different range of styrene size on this project to give the figure some depth. For all the main structural body parts I'm using .60" or 15mm.
