It is just the repaint, but cheaper. And I don't have any issue with the joints, maybe a little too tight in some. Beside that, I don't see Hasbro will release this color mode any time soon, or closer to the current DAI Stack price. ( I got it from Uncle Billy for something around 100 when it was on sale. )
Overall, it is worth owning. A solid, huge toy.
