You must be kidding, ROTF Leader Optimus Prime is the one of the greatest Optimus Prime mold, belong to the top of all time, along with MP01 and MP10.
And with the FWI-3 jetfire upgrade set, it only gets better.

I think you'd got to give it to City Commander.
We don't have a proper classics Ultra Magnus, and that one started me on the 3P.
Protector is cool, but too many unused parts for the robot.
The Hoist/TC upgrade is good, too. Can't beat the price.
I also got the Cretaceous Advancement set for FOC Grimlock. A slightly bigger shield and sword, along with a plate that covers the hole at the bottom of his dino mode, make this figure the best classics Grimlock so far.

I personally prefer battle tanker to city commander. Awesome super robot proportions. I would also consider the FP upgrades for the energon combiners if we are basing the upgrade on how much better it makes the base figure look

Heoric Duo is great. The Trailcutter and Hoist upgrade is awesome. Any FP upgrade set is great like City Commander, The Rodimus Prime upgrade and the Bruticus upgrade. The Echo upgrade for FOC bruticus is pretty cool.
Upcoming upgrades that are coming out are the Prime Megatron set that makes him taller and give him a proper blaster. There is a KP for the FP Revolver coming out.
Thats all I can think of. I love upgrades too.

I like the little upgrades Dr wu stuff ( heads weapons charaters) for prime etc.. are cool,and make the toys pop...movie prime jet upgrades for both ROTF,DOTM are nice editions much bette than hasbros release citycommander has to rank around the top as stated gave us a proper magnus out of the classic mold I also liked the old MP upgrade trailer for MP1 the second releasewas just an upscaled G1 trailer roller etc and was nicer than the previous box van.

Hmmm, so far I am not using a lot of add-ons for my toys. The few add-ons I do have are the Dr Wu Skybreaker TP-08 Blue, Dr Wu Rainstorm DW-TP15, and two figures decked out in Reprolabels (Prime Ratchet and Prime Knock Out).
I think the best upgrade set is a bit of paint though to touch up the lack of paint apps that Hasbro gives their figures.
