Yes it did bother me in the beginning. But my kids always want him in city mode. Much more playability and ways to use Metroplex with other smaller scale TFs. The robot mode is just not practical, it's a statue at best.

If you want some affordable WSTs to display with Metroplex, Heero Toys sells them dirt cheap. The UM can be had for $25 shipped. They are straight KOs, but at that scale, the quality is pretty much the same. Plus the WST Reprolabels are compatible. Here's an example of what I mean. WST UM fits perfect on Plex's runway and his roads/legs. Man now I feel like setting up a scene and snapping a photo for my collection spotlight.



Kabaya would work perfect too. Legends is a bit big IMO.

Here's mine in city mode with the Interceptor attached.

Eventually I'd like to get the Before & After Sixgun as it seems like the only one that has a tower mode to attach to Metroplex's city mode.

Also worthy of note, the extra window stickers that Reprolabels created for those who bought any of the various Metroplex's that came with 2 guns are also compatable with the XT004 Interceptor as seen in my pic here as Metroplex's left tower.
