WOW that is right awful. I'm so glad I watched a cam of TF3. I already feel dirty sacrificing my time to the, well, let's just say I have a negative opipion of that movie shall we, "movie". How hard is it to pick a different generic highway? God bless those who go to work just looking for a paycheck. Patron saint or spokes person(?) Micheal Bay rofl!

ok. doesnt effect my opinion of the movie (good!). Aside from the youtube guy im sure non of you actually noticed. Less chance of accidents to stunt people, they already had one bad incident.

Re: Michael Bay uses scenes from the "Island" to DOTM!!!

I noticed as I kinda enjoyed The Island. Also one of the scores is VERY similar to the finale score of The Island, but the same composer mind you.
Thing is, it's Bays work anyway so I really could care less if he reused old footage HE took.

Re: Michael Bay uses scenes from the "Island" to DOTM!!!

Wow Bay is actually smart. I'm adding some points to his direction (and the editing team) to seamlessly insert a couple of SMALL CLIPS of The Island and make it work for DOTM. Aren't movies about camera tricks and magic? Can't movies use small stock footage to make its story transition better than without it?

Re: Michael Bay uses scenes from the "Island" to DOTM!!!

I thought DotM was filmed in 3D. If they're able to insert footage from The Island (a 2D movie) then it must be at least partially a post-conversion job.

Of course, I have no plans to see it in theatres either way, but it's still a bit disappointing.
