I have to say Rodimus looks very good for an Animated toy, vehicle mode looks spot on and is a great homage to the G1 design. Robot mode is still to "Animated" looking to me, especially in the face, but still looks a lot better then most TFA toys I've seen.
Either way Protoman has good reason to lose his shit over this guy as he does look pretty good all around.

There is some engineering FIRSTs with this mold. They finally engineered out the engine in robot mode (G1 had it on the back of his head, Classics/Henkei it was still on his chest). They got the Floro Dery legs without any car kibble, it's all just amazing.

This is an amazing looking figure - and short of some crazy ass QC issues I can't think of any reason not to get a couple.
