Re: Transformers Earthrise Voyager Class Megatron In-Hand Images
Why is it such a downgrade from the Seige version? The head along with something about the body just looks off. Instead of the ugly grey sword, they could have made the blade like a transparent purple instead.
Oh well, another shelf-warming Megatron I guess. Seige is shelf-warming, Studio Series is shelf-warming, even the MPM is starting to shelf-warm. This poor Decepticon tyrant just can't get any love

Re: Transformers Earthrise Voyager Class Megatron In-Hand Images
My main problem is that the "sword" forms a vital part of the vehicle mode, so it can't just be discarded. I skipped Siege Megatron because of the paint, but this guy has his own problems (and still has ugly "battle damage" paint on the legs.) Maybe I'll pick up the Netflix version, or just wait for another Megatron mould.

Yeah that face is weird.
Oversaturating the market with G1 is possible...

The one pic makes it look like you can just disregard the weird sword thingy and use his fusion cannon as the tank turret, but it doesn’t show a very good look at the whole tank, so it could be gappy from behind. I’m curious if it can just be tossed aside, or even if the slightly less derpy sword from the Siege version can be used.

Re: Transformers Earthrise Voyager Class Megatron In-Hand Images
It's just, they absolutely, can not, will not give us a nice, clean Megatron using this mold
They keep ensuring that some aspect of him is gross
- Siege's battle muck, sh*t ankles (tbh they all have sh*t ankles)
- 35th's weird "washed out" face (made me realize Siege's face was p good), niche deco that doesn't match anything else
- Netflix was almost perfect (nice paint), but they HAD to put those stupid scratches on his chest, also battle-scuff crotch
- now this, goddamned stupid head, and oh look they scuffed up his legs again, and of course the WTF tank barrel sword
Like, I don't even care that he doesn't have wrist swivels, and has big empty cavernous forearms, I'll even shut up about the ankles - just give me a nice, clean Siege Megatron!
But of course they'll never do that - by continuing this "1 or 2 little things is wrong with him" process, they can keep suckering us -> "hey I know you bought the last 3 Megatrons in this exact same mold, but LOOK AT THIS ONE"
