Yeah it was $119.99. I'll post a few box pics in a bit. Haven't had a chance to open the thing yet.

What? Why? Holy shit that's more than double the the takara version. I thought the takara version was an expensive for a deluxe at 5.1k yen, but damn.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

So it seems likely there will be a Canada Post strike/lockout by July 2, so if you are going to have any deliveries by Canada Post, pray they get here before the said date. (I'm looking at you, SAL)

Ffffffuuuu. Got nothing on the way right now but I really don't want to resort to FedEx on my next HLJ order.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I just got my MP smokescreen and you know what?

I thought the nostalgia of the cartoon would make me like these but, sadly it does not. I am a transformers/tech/toys/car fan, and these old car models are just not appealing when the new car models look so much sleeker and cooler. I have all the Human Alliance cars, Alternators and movie Deluxes and these have super awesome car modes.

Comparing vehicle modes: MP tracks to Alternators Tracks, MP Sideswipe to HA sideswipe or Deluxe Lockdown, MP bumblebee to HA Mudflap, MP ironhide to HA or Alternators Skids, MP smokescreen to Alternity Convoy, etc. The modern vehicle modes look great (robot modes are not too shabby either) compared to cars from the 80's.

Old car models are just too clunky. I think i am going to be very picky about collecting these old style MP figures, and go with Movie toys!

(Except for optimus prime, the Truck Cab and Trailer never gets old.)
