I mostly go for the Deluxe figures, especially the Universe line. Only Legends figures I picked up were the 25th Anniversary G1 guys. But I would have to disagree with Voyagers being linked to important characters and this is directed at the Animated line. Pretty much ALL the decepticons are Voyagers.

And thus, with their price of $30 I couldn't fit them into the budget. Super glad I got the ones I did today @ Walmart for $10ea as I picked up the main 4 decepticons I needed.

Scout and Deluxe.

Deluxe more so than Scout b/c of the Bang vs Buck.

Some of my favorite toys are leaders from rotf and animated, they just clicked for me. That being said when you think a leader will be good, then get it and its not worth the money or space it is a huge letdown.

The overall best though is deluxe, they have solid transformations, look good and can be impulse bought which is a necessity for me.

Re: what class of tf figures do you like and collect the most?

all of them for example
Legends:
Universe Minibot and rodimus legends, great figures, fun to fiddle with
Scouts/activators:
great figures usually, nice smaller size
Deluxe:
points already made in the thread
voyager:
makes some characters at least a little closer to their scale
Ultras:
love them as well, hope they do a motormaster, hotspot, etc in that size
Leader:
great for scale/ complexity, unless hindered by their electronics
Supreme:
goodrimus and unicron, bad: Ult BB, ROC Prime

i get whatever i like

Deluxes. Period. They have great articualtion, pretty good paint job, and accurancy for a great price.

$17 ain't a great price, but oh well. Costs are much higher for almost everything. I do like the other lines, but for my budget, deluxes are 2x more affordable than any other TF line.

That, I agree. Lets hope cost goes down in the next 24 hrs. LOL.

Re: what class of tf figures do you like and collect the most?

I buy from all the classes as long as I like the figure, but my main focus is Deluxe. That's the only class that I'll buy something from even if I don't think I'll really love it, mainly because if I waste $15 it's no big deal, but wasting $30 just hurts. Plus, with only a few exceptions, I've found that the Deluxe class has the best engineering for transformation and posability in bot mode.
