This morning I found Wonder Woman hanging out with Sgt. Slaughter.

My girlfriend likes to move my toys. It drives me nuts. Every week I find one toy or other missing and in some different spot on my toy shelf. Last week it was a couple of my GI Joes mingling with the X-men. The week before was Bumblebee riding on my VF-1S Roy Focker.

I've realize I have OCD when it comes to my toys and how I arrange them. This sort of stuff shouldn't bother me, but it does. I love my girlfriend, she's awesome and she even goes toy hunting for me (today she was at Winners and sent me a photo of some toys she thought I needed), but enough is enough. I don't know how many times I tell her not to, she keeps touching them. No means no, dammit!

Does anyone else get all uppity about other people touching their toys or am I a freak? I have no problems with people playing with them or whatever while I'm there. It's when I'm asleep or away that bothers me. It's like that episode of Seinfeld.

I just hate having to move them. I have a small collection of TF's but no permanent spot to have them displayed yet.
Fortunately, my girlfriend's only rule is: 'As long as I don't have them always looking at me, I don't care' and 'As long as you don't care if I move them if they get in the way'.
She supports my collecting and with that alone it's needless to say, I love my girlfriend. I got lucky, I guess.

My Friends also had a habit of touching my figures and putting them in compromising positions. at first it was funny, but then got annoying after a while.

hat being said, if it is your wifes way of connecting with your collection then how bad could it really be.

yeah, i mean they're toys. she's not doing any harm, so i figure you need to just let it go and see that she's having fun with them too, and i think thats really pretty amazing.

Yeah, I think it keeps her sane when she sees my collection. I've basically usurped the den, so she only goes in there to mess with my toys. It probably is the way she connects with my collection. I got home from work today to find some of her little nicknacks taking over one of my shelves. Some Pingu plushies and a couple small plastic dinosaurs now occupy my DC shelf. It's all good. If all I have to do is endure some rearranging, I figure that's a decent trade.

Re: This morning I found Wonder Woman hanging out with Sgt. Slaughter.

It's time you buy her a collection shelf for her own toys for the den.

That...or...here are the 2 situations you can choose:

A. Collection is played and fooled around by girlfriend.
B. Collection is untouched by girlfriend and collects dust.

But here's the latter part of the situation you need to know:
Substitute the word "Collection" with your genitals.

Your call buddy.

You can also kill her........ you know, set an example for all women who know not to mess with the DC heroes and the former WWF/GI Joe stars.

I'm just saying.

Well, Sgt. Slaughter is from GI Joe. And DC did release a couple of GI Joe comics. So maybe she was just making a logical crossover.
