No kidding. I just checked Cineplex.com for reserved seating. All IMAX, AVX, Dbox show...empty seats everywhere even for Saturday night shows.

LOL. Should have read the whole thread. 9 of 10. Stumped by the Academy Awards question too.

I guess, technically and visually, the Bayverse films are worthy of industry accolades.

On a whim I chose the highest amount for what they've made worldwide since I figured "Why else would they continue to make these cinematic farts?" I was right.

Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

9/10 for me.
Got the Academy Awards one right.
Supposedly got last one on movie money-making wrong.
...I might be right if they end up losing money on this latest "film"... :P

I'm just going to assume that Nicola Peltz' character is not in the movie? She was definitely my favorite of the eye candy.

Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

I saw Cars 3 tonight with the kids... and it was better. Like, 10 times better. And I'm not even a Cars fan. Beautiful visuals and 3D, compelling Rocky-style story, good dialogues. Still want to see TF5 again though!

The this weekend will pretty much decide whether or not this movie is a financial success or failure.

Saw The Last Knight...Cade is NOT Tony Stark!

So, saw the movie and thought Cade is NOT Tony Stark. This felt like Ironman superimposed on a Transformers movie. It was the same sense I got with TMNT Out of the Shadows when I said that was a great Transformers movie. That, and a few other imperfections keep this from being the best in the series. However, i have a theory that some questions and holes were left deliberately. And, despite all that, I could follow the story very easily and had a fun time with my family. Spoiler free thoughts up to 18.04, then a VERY SPOILER HEAVY review continues from there forward.

For a Wednesday, it ranks #22 in the all time list. Not that bad actually. Only 3 of the 5 Transformers movie opened on a Wednesday.
