Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

There are some Bay sized plot holes, but still overall enjoyable.

This means nothing.

AOE was a terrible movie...even by product pushing film standards.

I've tried to watch it and can't. Lierally can't sit through it because it is so bad.

I hate baysformers...but the previews for this one do kind of look good.

I notice they didn't screen for critics...that's never a good sign.

Revenge of the Fallen was one of the worst movies ever created in the history of film. I suppose the fandom is happy as long as this is better than that... Enjoy them for what they are, PopCorn flicks. Leave your brains at home. They are awful, awful movies... but can be fun if you let them.

So out of curiosity is Grimlock in the movie longer than 5 minutes?

AOE was way worse.

I hate the attitude that they're popcorn flicks and to take them as such.

Marvel movies are popcorn flicks too.

I don't think anyone planned for these films to be so awful with the intention of being just a popcorn flick.

Means nothing? It means A LOT.

If it was as bad or worse than AOE then I'd see what you're saying. This one, while still having it's flaws was ACTUALLY enjoyable. A LOT more thought was put into character development on screen, even if some of them didn't get a tonne of time.

AOE was poorly written, and was a laugh a minute for all the wrong reasons. TLK was at the very least easy to follow, and made sense when it needed to make it's point. Is it a masterpiece? Hella no. Is it something fun to watch with your buddies? Absolutely.

I think some people are still hoping for a robotic Schindler's List or something.

Pretty sure you still have thousands and thousands of B-C-D movies to go through before attempting to make such a claim. Heck, I read L'Écran Fantastique every month and they must list 50+ new movies no one has ever heard about and that never got played in theatres.
