Does your Prime in Canada affect your Amazon.com shipping price then?

Is there a good shipping cost break if you get multiple items at the same time from Amazon.com in your guys experience?

Thanks for your reply and info on the local pricing...

It only works for items you purchase through .ca. So if you order something on .ca that ships from USA, you get the shipping discount. But if you ordered the same item from the same seller through .com, you don't.

Considering deluxes cost $36, for 2 of them, that's $72. Add $5 for a battle master and it seems right to me. But everyone's budget and value is different, so you do what's best for you.

But just saying, while it may seem pricey, it's no different than regular retail prices these days (which I do agree are expensive but not much to be done about it other than waiting for a sale, if there is one).

They will increase the shipping price for each item you add, so trying to spread out the shipping with multiple items doesn't really work.

Don?t get me wrong. I?m not saying they are marked up at all but the current state of Hasbro toy quality for price is beyond what I consider reasonable. Add to the fact that if I get them through .COM I will pay shipping on top of that even though to have Prime in Canada, it?s a bitter pill to swallow. Rising prices, questionable quality, and poor distribution options are just making me grumpy.

Totally fair.

Canada distribution can be rough for sure. And it has been a crapshoot getting in on preorders, which definitely sucks.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

I take it these are still out of stock on .ca? The Amazon exclusives have largely played out the same way for Canada - initially they can only be accessed through back door methods and are marked as not available (though sometimes there is a small amount of preorders), then after they become in stock in the US they become available on .ca (and usually get discounted not long after).

I've pre-ordered on the US site enough times only for it to become available for cheaper on .ca within days of my shipment, so I'm gonna wait it out.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

Only thing to do is keep monitoring the listings, but I'm sure someone will post here when it becomes available again.

You can always cancel orders after the fact. Unless you're really opposed to potentially paying shipping from the US, it would be a good backup plan because you can always just cancel the US order once you secure a preorder from CA.

Edit: nevermind, you're familiar with the process lol. Leaving my reply in case it helps others.
