Also, forgot to mention that my Blu-ray copy only comes with Blu-ray versions (4:3, 16:9) and no dvd...contrary to amazon.ca's description

Thanks for the info, was able to pick one up on the way back from work. I walked around, it was the only one left, but they had plenty of Bluray and DVD copies.

Well the BRRIP is much better color and clarity than the HDrip I have which was likely an upscaled DVD copy. So I'd say it's an improvement.

Watched it last night (widescreen BD). It looked and sounded great. Except for a short 5 seconds right when Hot Rod talks to Daniel about the fish biting. It was super blurry for that part.
