Re: Open for commissions!!

All I can do is shake my head. I am at a loss for words how ridiculous the offer is with no portfolio. Take your offer to Marvel see how it goes and please have someone video tape it.

Re: Open for commissions!!

So where as I agree with the whole thing about paying for something sight unseen being a bad idea. From what I understand you want someone to request something and when you've completed it you'll show it to them and they have the right to decide if they would like to purchase it or not. Correct?

But without at least a example of skill or your preferred style of artwork aren't you concerned that people may just be wasting your time? Therefore making an example piece of artwork both beneficial to you and your potential customers.

As for troll/bait sometimes I can't help but get sucked in lol

Sorry guys

Re: Open for commissions!!

What a weird thread. I am also thinking this is some kind of troll post.

I think the read tragedy here is that this guy, who has posted exactly 0 pieces of art, is getting all this attention when people who do actually post their illustrations hardly get any attention at all. Something to think about.

Sayonara.

Re: Open for commissions!!

You already garnered much attention in this post, If only you posted a link of your work then I guess theres no more issues being raised. Action speaks louder than words, a simple devianart link could really spell out the difference or post an image here..

Re: Open for commissions!!

I'm with you on this one and have understood the same thing. If it's product before cash then there's no risk. Therefore I'm up to see what you got.

Well, dammit... if I realized it was that easy, I would have requested my "Soundwave-and-Shockwave-Turned-To-Aim-At-Camera-During-Conversation-Ala-Pulp-Fiction-Sorta" art idea.

Alas, 'tis not to be. Maybe I'll go attempt it with MPS and QB... see if I can make it look "arty".

[Ahem... this is in no way a formal commission request and should not be taken as such ]

Re: Open for commissions!!

Thank you again!!
I am very happy to see the last few comments that have been put here in the thread!
Again, Thanks.
And, yes... Being nice was indeed all it took.

So, Surehot22t did indeed take me up on the offer!
You can see his request done live as I recorded it for him.

Thanks for the trust, Sureshot22.
Again, I am open for commission!

Please note, I am here to make the thing you are looking for. Style, look feel action etc. IT IS a request form. I want to make what you want, not what you believe I can or can't do. (leave that part up to me.)

Re: Open for commissions!!

That video clip was all that people were looking for, to get a taste of your abilities. You do have some talent so hopefully that clip showing your process will help garner some interest. good luck
