If it's on these boards, general rule of thumb is whoever has less feedback ships first.

I would suggest sending detailed pictures of everything, especially close-ups if anything isn't mint, and asking for the other party to do the same in return.

I used these instructions I found online:

To change your currency default option, do the following:
My Account -> Profile -> My Money -> My preapproved payments -> Update -> See Available Funding Sources (or Set Available Funding Sources) -> Conversion Options (for card you'd like to change this option)-> Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice -> Submit

On another note, does anyone use rotating electric display stands? Was thinking of getting one or two but would like suggestions either locally or online. Prefer AC adapter over battery operated.

According to PayPal, there are two ways it is calculated.

Use PayPal's conversion process to complete my transaction using my card's currency.
- Both the original transaction currency and the converted amount that I will be charged are disclosed for my convenience. I understand that MasterCard and Visa have a currency conversion process. I have chosen not to use the MasterCard and Visa currency conversion process, and I will have no recourse against MasterCard and Visa with respect to any matter related to this conversion.

Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice.
- I will not know which foreign exchange rate has been applied to this transaction until I receive my card statement from my card issuer. I acknowledge that by choosing this option, my card issuer will determine the foreign exchange rate to apply to this transaction, and that I will not be informed of the foreign exchange rate or any additional foreign exchange fees applied until I am billed by my card issuer.

Basically, it's PayPal's rates vs. your card company's. In my case, PayPal has always been overcharging me.

How much has it been off? This is great to know, I've not looked into this.

PayPal like most credit card has +2.5% foreign exchange fees. If you are using Amazon.ca CC, it has 0% exchange fee, so you pay whatever the VISA exchange rate is on the posted day. Eg PayPal wanted $62.xx to withdraw from my debit in a recent payment for AE, once switched to my Amazon card and set to let it handle foreign exchange, I ended up paying 60.xx, saving closer to $2

It's weird, I shipped something by SAL from Japan just before Golden Week and I got it in a week which is the fastest ever for a SAL shipment for me.
