During his shadowy rise to power,
TOXIN required more troops who would work under him without question of his goals or shady past. Enter
VILE, Toxin's latest creation. A clone of
AXIS, but without any fiber of doubt in his master's motives. Created with a mind for chemical warfare,
VILE uses all manners of core shell injections to slow his prey's spark down till they cease to function.
Armed with 2 pin point lasers, common to the C-14 frame but modified by
TOXIN so that when contact is made, a mild cyber venom is injected which causes reduced motor skills and a sharp decline in optical vision.
VILE then has 2 wrist mounted units that finish the job in close combat after his prey can no longer defend itself. It injects a large dose of Dark Energon into the receiver which over-clocks the spark and thus, burns out.
Why
TOXIN has such a cache of Dark Energon for his creation is a whole question in itself.
