Here's a long-standing project that I started in the summer and never finished...I had taken a Hydrodive Bumblebee apart and left him in pieces for months which is apparently how long it took to finally take sand paper to that lovely gold paint.
WHY?
I guess I felt that Deluxe Bumblebee was always a bit too large, and Activators Bumblebee was always too small...when Hydrodive Bee was announced, I was stoked but we only got the Takara one which was a freaky gold. So I bought up a loose one to paint a nice yellow and there you have it!
I used the "Animated Almanac" as a reference for the colors which I changed slightly from the original Hydrodive version.
As always, I aimed for a "Factory-fresh, 360-degree repaint" with full transformation...
