Pirates are in... last time was th zombies trend with their "shattered glass" excuse of making good guys bad and vise versa... this year the pirates are a-la-mode so they jump on the wagon...

I bet some exec thought "Well if Power Rangers is doing pirates this year then so can we!"

I agree that it feels a little bandwagony but I tend to rather like robots that incorporate a pirate motif…I'll wait and see what the figures look like before I reserve judgement.

You know what I just thought of, which would be a great addition to this Pirate set? This "Fuzor" Pirahnacon.

I'd totally buy that. Though knowing FunPub, they'd probably just fanwank themselves and do it in the cancelled Universe 1.0/Collector's Club colors instead.
