So I noticed wave 1 of the BSG figures at TRU today, at first I was kinda excited but I quickly became somewhat jaded as I looked at the 3 figure assortment:
Lee Adama: Deserves a figure, face didn't look great but OK.
Six: Again deserves a figure, but I was hoping for a much better one than what I saw.
Hotdog?: A bit character on the show, he's kinda the Wedge Antilles of BSG. Deserved a figure, but in wave 5 not wave 1.
I see on the back of the package that Helo, Anders and the Chief all have figures exclusive to US stores/websites. This = lame.
No kick ass Cylon robots in wave 1? WTF? They would have matched up great with Six. No Admiral Adama? No Baltar? No Starbuck? No Sharon? What exactly are they thinking.
Here's what I woulda had in wave one: A Cylon Warrior, Starbuck, Lee Adama, Admiral Adama and Cylon Sharon. Make Baltar and Six a two pack for later on.
Now I'd love to see this line thrive, but without a awesome Cylon robot in each wave plus the main characters its gonna die real quick. Having half the line as exclusives is a very dumb idea as well......Bring on season 4 in April
