What to do with Bruticus?

So I bought all 5 figures to combine Energon Bruticus Maximus in 2004. I never opened the packages and shortly thereafter stopped collecting because I did not have the space. They went into a box and were stored for the past eight years. Now I have more space and have most of my 200+ toys out again.

Another reason that I never opened them is that Energon Superion was lame. I did not enjoy his hands and feet. I now see that you can purchase upgrades for this, which I hope to find at a reasonable price.

The question is: do I open the packages now after all this time and play with them? Or do I keep them as MOC display pieces?

I do want to get the newer version of BM.

As an aside, I went to ebay and found that sealed energon BM figures were selling for $50+ and shipping! what?! Are they in that much of a demand or are ebay sellers just wishing that someone will pay that insane price?

I also have a sealed Devastator from the movie. Didn't look like much fun so I have never played with him.

actaully BM is selling for about $100-$150 also take it out and play thye're fun and http://tfsource.com/products/view/product_id/5822/ this is probably the best price for it out there and it comes with all parts so good

If I saw a $50 Bruticus I'd buy it on the spot no questions asked. They range from anywhere from $100- over $200 in a few cases. Unless you actually want to play with it, i would keep it sealed and sell it lol.. Good return on your investment.

And I should clarify: the $50 is per toy, not for the whole Bruticus Maximus. I have seen BM for $150 loose. Sometimes with upgrades for more.

Here's a shameless plug, buy my Bruticus Maximus boxed set and Munitioner/Explorer from my sales thread, open them up, display them and keep this one MISB! Voila, problem solved!

Sell them. I have never been a fan of the Energon Combiners and if you thought Superion was lame, Bruticus is more of the same crap as him.

Sure the FP upgrades make him cooler,but do you really want to spend an extra $200 to do that? Even with the upgrades the 3 Hasbro molds are still garbage.
