So, uh, quick question... When did Imageshack get rid of their free accounts? I mean I've had an account for years there where I could upload, it wasn't with all the frills and things, but it allowed me to share images.

Now all of a sudden the site seems to be saying I need to upgrade to Premium just to keep uploading pictures, in other words they expect me to pay for the service now even though I never signed up for any free 30 day trials of the Premium account or anything like that... So what happened?

And are there any alternatives for image sharing that doesn't require pay as you go crap that I just can not afford at this time.

Photobucket is still free as well, but likes to upgrade a lot

The last time I logged into Imageshack back in January, there was a notification that they were only going to be running free uploads for a short time longer. If you wanted to continue uploading new pictures I would have to upgrade to a paid service.

I just got a free account with Photobucket.

i use photobucket when i do uploads. which isnt very often lol but its free.

If your looking for something else just do a google search for free image hosting. You'll get lots of results.
