Re: TTT's Customs

When you do "clean" work, bro. Your one of the best.

Kind of ironic considering what I just posted in my DRPK thread.

Re: TTT's Customs

Thank you guys

Haven't been up to much since I last posted but it's been too long, here's what I got.

These Star Wars customs were for a Japan Relief charity auction, I teamed up with Zildjian(he did an ARC-170) and we raised just over $200.00

They are Rogue Clones and their droid.

All were basecoated gray then completely repainted by hand/brush.

Re: TTT's Customs

Remember M.U.S.C.L.E.S. ?........then you are too old lol...just kidding :P
I had quite a few of these as a kid...

Here's one I gave an all black basecoat then completely repainted by hand/brush.

A classic G.I. Joe figure with a new custom head & torso sculpt combo from SlayerDesignStudios.
Arms/legs/waist are from Shockwave V3 (the GI Joe Shockwave lol)

This all started with complete coverage of an all black basecoat then completely repainted by hand/brush.

Re: TTT's Customs

Thanks !!!

Dang, haven't been at full speed for a while.........kinda puttering......but here's some recent customs !!!...

ARAH (1987) Croc Master in my 2009 Python Patrol design...
spent a lot of time on this for a repaint...
Trimmed shoulder & elbow joints to prevent paint rub, gave him the arm bite scars like 25th CM and had to go with a home job breather hose...was tough to find this guy without elbow cracks as well so with the elbow joint trimmed this should never crack.
Then complete coverage of an all black base coat(except where the Cobra symbol on his chest is) and added colors from there by brush/hand.
Went with a slightly darker gray much like Hasbro's upcoming POC PPCM, I thought that looked waaay better than the lighter gray on my original 2009 design.
I also included the Python head pattern which seems to missing on the upcoming POC PPCM.

Had a nasty slip with a fresh exacto whist trimming an elbow joint and earned myself 5 stitches

Re: TTT's Customs

ZOMBIE Boba Fett

This all started with a Star Wars Legacy Collection Boba Fett kitbashed with an Army Of Darkness Deadite.
Once the figure was assembled it was given complete coverage of an all black base coat then colors were applied.
No factory plastic or paint can be seen so everything you’re seeing has been painted by hand/brush.
Thanks to ActionFigureNews.ca member Alexander Quinn for the inspiration on the a Jango Fett head & helmet, I came up with the idea that young Boba Fett kept his dad’s head/body frozen in hopes to revive him one day but as he grew older he realized he had to let go.
As a zombie he carries around his dad’s frozen/now thawing out head as a reminder to take revenge on those that had killed his father.

Zombie Boba Fett: “He’s only good to me dead!”

Re: TTT's Customs

Very nice!

I always look at your new pieces and think, "How will he top that?"

And you always do.
