It isn't for sure the Quebec's dubbing. Its sound crappy like a dubbing done by a bunch of drunk guys in their basement. Bumblebee sound like a smurf, the voices seem to be randomly attributed and the speeches badly synchronized with the images. According to some expressions I heard in it, it sound like a dubbing done in France. Maybe someone can confirm. Concernig GIJOE, it sounded like what i remember.

That's the version from France. Quebec only dubbed the first couple seasons I believe then they switched to the France version for season 3 (or something like that).
EDIT: Hubert Gagnon dubbed Prime in Quebec in 1984 and 1985. So year, only 2 seasons for the Quebec dub.

G1 was dubbed in french canadian all the way up to Season 3. Best way to tell? Starscream in the france dub is Starscream, in Quebec, Ego.

This is the wrong dubbing for Transformers on Retro French, they don't use the French canadian dub of TVA, instead, they use the France dub.

Latest news:
According to Teletoon webmaster Silversly, the only reason why the 80 French Canadian dub (instead we got the France dub) of Transformers G1 is not show on Teletoon Retro is because the dub is not available for the simple reason: "Question of rights..." and "they are working to get it..."
In other-words, the 80 French Canadian dub of Transformers is in the hands of a company that does not want to give it for nothing...
Story to follow.
