Re: Generations/Classics/3rd party opinions

I am still debating on whether I should get Voyager sized MP-10(which is on pre-order and is being released on June 20th) or Henkei Optimus.

If I get Henkei Optimus, I have to get him an upgrade kit that has his iconic Ion Blaster, whereas Voyager MP-10 already comes with it and also comes with his famous axe. It shouldn't be rocket science, but it's all about scale.

I am curious, where did you see a voyager scaled MP-10? That guy is huge compared to the rest of CHUG but if maybe a KO is doing a voyager sized version at a good price, then maybe. Honestly, I find the classics Optimus to be super solid but smallish. I use the Evasion Mode Prime with a little custom work plus he scales nicely with Hegemon but hey, all personal preference. As for the classics mold, if you can find it, get the one from the Evolution 2 pack, that thing was a sweet version of that mold.

Pretty sure that's the actual Masterpiece Optimus in that figure, which is indeed to big to scale with CHUGs.

Google is your friend. There is such a thing as downsized version of MP-10 being made by a Chinese KO company.

It looks interesting, but I'm skeptical about what kind of quality this will turn out to be and reserving judgement until I see some reviews, but it's a possible good choice after Henkei Optimus.

I think Voyager MP-10 and Hegemon, would be the ideal leaders for a CHUG collection

Re: Generations/Classics/3rd party opinions

I have 3 Optimus Prime's for a CHUG collection and as for Megatron? I am still over fence for which Megatron to get

Optimus Prime: Henkei Prime, Igear Faith Leader, Voyager sized MP-10

Megatron: Not a fan of Nerftron, Hegemon don't know if he will scale good with the rest of the CHUGS including Henkei Prime. Igear Mini MP Megs, CW Megatron? don't which Megs to have

Otherwise, it's the same mold.

I have version 2 hegemon. The colour is grey like the original. He also has a standard grey bucket head as well as a black and his feet are the same. That picture shows a customized hegemon with the kingof evil feet addon.
Extremely hard to find kit

I hear you on you this one.... My only Megatron in my collection is my customized TF Prime Voyager Megatron. I would consider the CW (not-Armada-inspired) Megatron, but I don't like the price of it thus far.

It was 50% off a few times which was a pretty good bargain

Totally worth full retail, but half price was a no-brainer.
I don't think we'll see another version this good for a few years.
