well, I hope the Zeller top manager won't have stupid excuses like TRU's not to bring the exclusive Titanium and to complain about the previous sales, which does not support Zeller to bring more exclusive later..

From a business stand point, passing on those exclusives because the line as a whole didn't sell well makes total sense. Hence why TRU did what they did, at the end of the day they are a business. I doubt that Zellers will stop jumping on exclusives I'm just noticing I've seen Deep Space Starscream, the Universe 2 packs, and Animated packs practically in the same positions I saw them the week before.

So in other words.... if it's an exclusive, it should be produced in limited numbers to prevent this absolute abomination of over clogging the shelves.

I think some stores go exclusive crazy and order tons of them resulting in overstock and it leaves a bitter taste in their mouth when they can't sell them out fast enough. Course this is all very item specific as well. In the case of Deep Space Startscream, those that really wanted him got him in the States instead of waiting the almost 5 months till we got him. By the time he hit our shelves most of the interest was gone...hell I still see like 6-8 at every Zellers I go to. Then of course there are the sets that people are just turned off of completely like Rescue Ratchet....

In the Bank St. location of The Comic Shoppe in Toronto, I've heard there is Swindle and Blurr's wave for $17.99. Could this be the Canadian release of wave 5?

We don't consider comic shops as retail release since they aren't nationwide.
