That would be cutthroat, a combiner limb from g1. Abominus' left leg to be exact.

Nice... I didn't think it would be a combiner limb, it didn't seem to have the usual connectors. Thanks!

I dont have pictures, but My aunt bought an optimus roughly in the range of 2001-2003. It was about 100+ bucks and it was on sale for 20. What show where out during that time as that may help. I dont know which prime it could be as i havent seen the toy. Its big apparently, and may have came in a blue and white box.

Sounds like "Super-Con Optimus Prime" from the Armada line. He originally retailed at Toys R us for as high as $69.99 so with tax that's ALMOST 100 bucks.

Re: Post in this thread for help to identify a Transformers toy

I need some help with this one. I found this bad boy at Talize. I'm not usually one to pick up the Chinese no-names, but I couldn't pass on this ridiculous thing.

I put Drift behind him for scale, but the angle makes it look weird. They're actually the same size.

The plastic is actually quite heavy. At first I thought it might be die-cast. Everything is really solid too.

The markings on the hood and roof say "Westerner Private" and there are "DZ" and "Westerner 8" logos. The wording on the windshield says "Best Car Systems". The license plate on the back is "DRW 532".

I can't find any wording in the mold itself except "China Patented" across the stomach. I can't find a year or anything else.

Aside from having a gigantic "hood chest" this is actually a pretty sweet toy. I've googled all the markings and come up with nothing, so it doesn't seem like a real company. Does anyone have ANY idea what it is?

Re: Post in this thread for help to identify a Transformers toy

^it's a k/o from the higher end dollar stores.
wifey bought me this guy, along with his two partners.
one is a isuzu vehicross that's red and white with actual ceapo lights and sirens, the other is a white and red (remolded again in white and blue) f-1 styled car .

all 3 have diecast(this mercedes bot's diecast is his whole lower half in vehicle mode except the bumpers)and extremely limited posability.
all 3 also came with gold chromed rifles which barely fit in their hands.
i don't know if i still have the box from these 3 bots but it's grey with blue lining around the see through window.
hope that helps.
