If its to be Prime and Megs on a budget, for a classics scale, I recommend AOE Evasion Mode OP, TFPrime Voyager OP 1st Edition or Animated Deluxe Prime and TF Prime RID Voyager Megatron, Animated Voyager Megatron or FOC Megatron.

Otherwise I recommend FOC deluxe Soundwave or TFP 1st Edition deluxe Megatron.

Classic optimus prime with the g3 trailer and fansproject dia commander set.
As for megatron go with 1st edition hegemon from toyworld. Both are good chug sized badass!

Why not get CW Optimus and Megatron and get one of the upgrade kits to go along with them.

The Optimus kit turns him into leader class height.

I'm thinking about CW Megatron, but he doesn't scale good with my C.H.U.G deluxe figures. Unless I sale them and go all Leader Class /Voyager

Then get WFC optimus prime and Megatron, those 2 are great classic toys, pretty much the best in Deluxe class.

Either get him and plan on selling everything else to get all MP and 3Party or avoid MP completely lol.

I think I honestly bruised my fingers trying to get the hands on properly, but it looks fantastic. The kit cost more than megs when he was on sale, if budget is an issue, OP

If Classic Voyager Optimus and Megatron isn't your cup of tea, chances are.. you probably have to go with third party. There just isn't anything decent enough or in-scale with the classic figures you got other than these 2. CW Optimus is okay, but then you will have no Megatron, the CW Megatron is oversized. Or better yet get CW Optimus and wait for the Titan Wars Galvatron, while you are at it...do yourself a favour, go buy a CW Cyclonus right now while it is still available at retail.

If you are okay without the Autobot and Decepticon leaders, get onto Leader Generations Jetfire, Classic Mirage, and Universe 2.0 Hound, those are great addition to your Autobots. I would also add Ironhide and Ratchet if you don't mind their height.

For Decepticons, get Ramjet and Dirge to finish off your seekers. Also you can get Blitzwing and Astrotrain if you want to grab a couple more, I don't mind them, but some ppl don't seem to like them. Anyways, if you really concern about scale and accuracy to the G1 cartoon, may as well get into the MP line. I love both lines, Masterpiece line gives you the accuracy, but CHUG has way more variety.
