TRU Exclusive Darkwing vs Countdown

Not only is Countdown one of my favourite characters overall, I like to consider the new mould as representing a kind of trans-tector chassis, which would house the Micromaster form within the chest (similar to some of the characters shown in the Japanese series Masterforce and Victory).

And he even comes with the starship (which I call the Audentes in my fiction) too!

But then, I am not sure I could advise regarding which is more collectable - other than describe which character is more appealing to me...

...and of the two, there is simply no contest.


(Now, if only Countdown would get himself shipped to TRU stores in Ontario...)

They should have repainted the mold into Doubledealer instead of Countdown.

Yeah. Flip the nosecone, expand the legs, move the waist, fix the arms. Colors are a good match with the G1 original.

Don't forget the cool "Transformers Transforming" sound effect when transforming the head and back ("upscale" and "downscale"). Sold me.
