2010 Takara/Tomy Creator Primus...sounds?(figured out the answer)

I received Primus as a Christmas gift from my Brother and its one of my favourites already. I transformed him into Cybertron today and noticed a speaker...I mean i'm pretty sure its a speaker. When he's standing on the 4 little legs in planet mode, the speaker is on the top next to the omega key slot. Does Primus make any sounds, or is this a gimic that was scratched at the last second? Maybe the batteries are just dead? Does anybody have the first release of Primus? Did he make sounds then? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yes, the first release Primus made sounds. When you used the omega key to do the final part of his transformation, the part where the head pops up, there'll be a kind of swoosh sound. I also think if you leave the omega key locked in when in planet mode it makes some noises if you let it sit, but I'm not 100% sure of this second trigger. Maybe someon else can confirm.

So I figured it out myself. The Japanese instructions didn't help much either lol. None of the video reviews mentioned any lights and sounds. I did notice in the instructions a picture showing how to change batteries. I figured that since this was a re-release that maybe they scrapped the electronics to lower cost. Anyway when I opened the battery cover I noticed the contacts were still there. I put in some batteries, inserted the Omega key...and sure enough his eyes lit up and he made transformation noises. Sweeeeet.
