Select TRU no longer offering Rainchecks on Transformers

I found it varies by store and by associate as well. I had one store manager not willing to issue one before. Went back to the same store the following day and it was no problems.

some items they indicate on the flyer no rainchecks. They should do that if they are not willing to issue any out to save all this frustration.

I wrote a letter to the head office as well. I dont know the name of the manager but it was the heavyset woman, not Chris (who I find is a cool guy).

Naw this is nonsense. I just got two rain checks for leaders at argentia. If a manager ever does this, ask them for head offices number, tell them they are in breach of policy,and call in front of them. i did this to a manager at Walmart last Saturday because he wouldn't price match a soundwave. At the end of the day, it's no money out of their pockets, and they're just being jerks probably because they hate themselves. :P

I'm sure it was just a case of someone having a bad day.

I got one today with no issue. I spoke with one of the managers there and she said they haven't received any notice like that. Could also be unique to one or two stores as well.

The barcode on each deluxe toy is different. It is Tru that uses a same number for their internal skn/sku

The idea with rainchecks are you can get them for sale items that are out of stock. If Sound wave hasn't even been stocked on the shelves yet, it is kinda sketchy to ask for a raincheck for soundwave.

But since Tru uses the same skn/sku for a price class, you were probably denied the raincheck cause there are leader Optimus or blaster on the shelves already.
