Re: Canada is getting very far behind in releases...is this a bad sign?

I don't know what what will happen so just i case today I bought Blurr, Swindle, Blazing Lockdown, Waspinator, Samurai Prowl, Skywarp, Shockwave, Wreck-Gar and Atomic Lugnut off BBTS so I will avoid the Energon Wing Saber incedent.

I was also kinda unpatient.

^ Hope you didn't pay too much for the Atomic Lugnut, Automaton has him for $14.99 Cdn right now (http://www.automatontoys.com/item.as...m_AtomicLugnut).

I've been asking Mario at automaton about the animated deluxes and he said he's looking into bringing them in so here's hoping!

I think buying in the US time is here, in my opinion. That's where i picked up ani shockwave. around chirstmas i should have bought uni 2.0/ classics iron hide ... picked up galvatron ... what was i thinking... really... i guess i figured the other waves would show up here eventually.

I think, like what been said before, the stores ARE making room for movie 2 figures cause they are what's gonna be hot. Haven't seen anything new in NB, one walmard has put all movie 1 figs in the clearance isle. There is a shelving/display plan up, hope they are getting new stuff to add to the old universe and ani figs. (they do have some Ultra magnus' at walmart in freddy if anyone was looking).
There... another book finished. that's ten mins you'll never get back lol

Henkeis are difficult to get any any sort of reasonable price on ebay right now too.

I've ordered a few things from Automaton (Wreck-gar, wave 5 legends, henkei Cyclonus), and notably their prices have stayed put despite the poor currency exchange. I've ordered from them before, definitely recommended.

100% agree. Ordered from Automaton shipped fast. If they have it, get it. Goldenagetoys was good too to buy from.

Re: Canada is getting very far behind in releases...is this a bad sign?

Here's what I did to get all the figures

Blurr,Swindle, Wave 4 Legends, Hound, Dinobot, and Smokescreen - Bought in Buffalo over two shopping trips with my girlfriend, this way It wasn't just a trip for Transformers. Bought at lower US prices, even with the exchange they came out to a lower price than here. All the deluxes I got on sale for either 7.77 or 8.99

Wave 5 Legends - Bought from Stadium Comics in Brampton for 8.99 each. Only $1 more than retail.

Universe Inferno - Found a seller in Toronto who allowed local pick up. Cost me $35, only 50 cents more than retail.

Animated Shockwave and Wreck-Gar - Ordered from Automaton toys. Worked out to around 8.50 more than retail each, but with pre-orders and quick shipping, it makes it very worthwhile to order from them. Mario is EXCELLENT to deal with. I also got my Henkei Cyclonus and Henkei Ironhide from them.

I know not everyone has these options available to them, but that was my solution to finding the figures.

I'll be planning another trip to Buffalo when the Animated Exclusives for Shockwave and Sunstorm hit. I don't think Zellers will be getting them this time.

Cheers!

Re: Canada is getting very far behind in releases...is this a bad sign?

I out right gave up on actively looking for resent waves.
I've got a buddy in the US, I sent $$$ to who is picking up everything I need.

How sad is that ?

The wave with Universe Hound and Cyclonus should be out soon. TRU.ca had them in stock but they sold out. (Cheetor's still there)

I think we were just spoiled by getting stuff a month or so after the US for such a long time, now it's coming out a little longer than the "old" time and it seems extra long.
