Wow, I didn't realize how much bigger MP-01 / MP-04 is! And I actually like the look of him a bit better. Hmmm... well, if I don't find the new MP in stores I may have to look into the original. Might be a good time to buy one if the new one becomes a replacement in some people's collections.

that's about how i feel the difference is in the two molds, mp-01 is basically a transformable statue, posing is difficult, or downright impossible with it lol the mp-10 mold is a masterpiece

But technically shouldn't it be the other way around, with MP-10 getting bigger and turning into Mp-01 with the matrix and vice-versa in terms of scale?

I do like MP-10 setting the new standard in terms of poseability and playability. Still love my MP-01 though. I'd stopped collecting at the time he first came out. Nothing will ever replace the hype, the wait, finally getting that package, and the feeling of unboxing of that first masterpiece figure. I couldn't keep my hands nor eyes off of him.

See, at least I like this color combo over any other version so far, looks a lot less drab and BEIGE, lol. The arm mods make it bearable. This would not be something I want at full retail price though, especially with the MP lineup coming.

Took me a while, but I now know why hasbro gave us this toy in these colors. The resemblance is to Energon Bruticus Maximus! COOOOOOOOOOL
