Due to circumstances out of our control, the Kickstarter campaign for “Transformers G1 Unofficial Photographic Archive [ Volume 1 & 2 ]” will be prematurely aborted around 11:59pm PST tonight (10/14/2017).


All pledges will automatically cancel upon termination, and you will not be charged anything. We are deeply sorry, but we truly have no choice.


However, Ocular Echo has reason to hope that there might be an official door opening… but only time will tell as to how discussions pan out. We want to extend our warmest gratitude and appreciation to everyone that got behind this labor of love. We bow to you.

it says unofficial.
The word "archive" is heavily licensed and protected... just kidding. probably transformers?

I have a similar question but slightly different

"Would that word be "official"? Did Hasbro scoop this up? Are they smart enough to realize how cool it is and ensure this will be widely available to the fandom and its creators are properly compensated for its beauty?"

They noted that "there might be an official door opening..."

So, I am hopeful, and it sounds like Hasbro is interested in being a part of this endeavour. This might be a huge positive, if terms can be agreed upon... if so, there might be even greater production and distribution numbers, which could drive the cost down, especially for Canadians.

Just my optimistic interpretation of things...
