Bit of a random TF question, shopping in Mexico

Hey Guys,

I am going to Mexico this week and I was wondering if any of you have every been there and shopped for transformers? I was wondering what it was like there, are they at the same point as us or do they sell older stuff? (ie still just ROTF)

I am just curious if anyone has been there if they have any specialty shops, though I doubt it.

Thanks for any insight,

Mike

Hey Mike,

A couple of years ago I was in Mayan Riviera and went to "Playa Del Carmen" looking for TFs...we went to Walmart and only found figures a few releases previous to us, and at higher prices no less.

We did check out the marketplace there, but no TFs that I saw. Some cool trinkets though..we got this cool little Octopus lamp made from a Coconut, lol

Transformerswise you probably won't find much that's better or not already out here.

You may however find some interesting side products and or knock-offs.

You can also get a monkey carved out of a coconut, which if you do you should buy it for me. Because I want one very muchly.
