What your not understanding is that evryone has a different definition of what a scalper is. There isn't one set answer as your opinions point out.

I mean at the Con's near me there are people who would be defined as scalpers by some(inlcluding myself), but most of these people are simply running small businesses and getting improperly labelled, imo.

It wouldn't be a far stretch for some people to label smaller retailers as "scalpers", in fact I've heard it done many times, even when these businesses order their inventory all from wholesalers and the USA.

Other people sell parts of their own collections at Conventions(sometimes for a loss in the grand scheme of things). It's a slippery slope.

You have a "Sell" thread, and there's nothing wrong with that to me, but I could easily imagine a collector somewhere sitting around saying, "That Cybertron.ca is a website full of scalpers so I hesitate to go there".
