On the subject of Hotrod. I ordered one from HLJ just to try them out. Well I went into my preorder account today and Hotrod was marked as Discontinued. Looks like they aren't going to fill that request. I don't know what is up with that.

still nothing from HLJ but they get the items out fast once they got them as long as I get my payment by tomorrow I should have this by Wednesday next week

I've been finding recently that a lot of my N-Y orders, even if I choose small packet, arrive within 2 weeks of shipping, even right before Christmas. For amiami, it's always at least 3, and went up to 5 for a while back at the end of the summer. Is there something they do differently?

The figure was 5680yen and shipping was 1540 yen for 2-3 weeks with tracking and insurance. Canadian it is $92.50 OUR DOLLAR SUCKS!

Oh thats weird, i havent received the email notice but its said shipped on status with the tracking.
As for hlj, hot rod as been taken off their site probably to fulfil the pre orders first like someone who pointed one. Probably they re processing it soon

I have no clue, I was shocked to get the package in less than a week, pleasantly shocked that is.

As for why? Maybe they work faster?

Plus you might get nailed with customs and duty. I wish we had more local sellers that charged in Canadian. I ordered from Kool Toyz. Should cost about the same as your HLJ order.

They mark it that way as they fill their preorders. Don't panic yet. Give it a couple days. Check your paypal/credit card for a charge.

Under $100 won't get hit no matter what. Over $100 and I think you can get them to tweek the numbers but I haven't tried that. Or put gift on the box, you shouldn't get hit with customs if it is a gift. Only store I ever got nailed on consistently was BBTS.
