That's why Michael Bay refused to watch G1. It was too much quality for his cheap taste.

AH HA HA HAHAHA.....ah that made me laugh G1 and quality in the same sentence.....
The only thing G1 had going for it was the characters and even those were isolated. The horrible animation, errors, stories, and dialogue make G1 almost unwatchable today.

Re: Transformers 3 to bring Core Mythology to the fore
Those were two sentences.
I still don't get why they even bother to try and woo us on the third film. The releases should just read, "More farting, burping, robot blown to bits, wooooooooo " TFM3 coming soon!

Re: Transformers 3 to bring Core Mythology to the fore
Ah scepticism,my kind of philosophy.
Anyway,I am actually interested in this idea of 'returning' to core development of the characters.Funny thing that there was hardly any core development in the robot characters in the first place. Not going to put my entire faith on it,since I've done that in the past two films...but,they might prove me wrong this time.....sure.

Re: Transformers 3 to bring Core Mythology to the fore
Sorry but, I just don't buy it.
I would buy less explosions, I would buy more story, but I will never, NEVER buy that Michael Bay knows and understands Transformers lore.
