Re: Does anyone else think that Drift...

I was expecting drift to be a helicopter Decepticon and actually change sides in the movie to adopt the Bugatti... I actually think the helicopter mode works really well, to use the blades as swords... but despite how downplayed his 2 modes were I still thought the movie in general was decent and Drift didn't end up as Cringe worthy as I expected. HE was a little hard to understand sometimes though.

Re: Does anyone else think that Drift...

they never did show him transcanning the bugatti mode did they?
his first appearance he jumped off the cliff and turned into the helicopter with the hovercraft tail, but they didn't show how he became a bugatti....

You guys just described the entire Bayformers franchise.

This unfortunately sounds like typical Michael Bay, too!

Edit: in all fairness, the lack of the above gutter trash and bathroom humour, made AoE more enjoyable to watch.

This exactly. Re-scanners and Legoformers is Bay and Spielberg's understanding of the Transforming process.

Oh what'll we do with you, Mike & Steve!

Re: Does anyone else think that Drift...

Well this movie takes place a few years in the future so I would assume alot of the plotholes have already taken place such as his bugatti scanning.
