I've tried watching Damages, Sopranos and Mad Men but couldn't get into them.

Never considered Veronica Mars, In Treatment or The Closer so I will look into those so thank you.

Also up to date with Burn Notice but I will say I absolutely love the show and I'd have to say its currently my favorite since The Unit is now ended.

Wow that's awesome though, sure is a sweet show. So educational lol.

I am taking a look at my DVD shelf right now...

You could try (sorry I am not sure what else you have seen) HBO's Rome or Deadwood...both are spectacular in my opinion.

You probably have seen these, but I recommend them to everyone: X-Files, Buffy, Angel.

I have been getting into Smallville as of late and am into Season 2 at the moment. I am liking it a lot. I still can't see it being better than Buffy (as per the recent thread) but it is enjoyable - so far.

EDIT: HBO's Carnivale is also a sweet ride. As with Rome and Deadwood, they ended too soon IMO.

EDIT2: Hbo's OZ. Wow I miss the days when HBO made a lot of good shows...

So finished 'the Hammer' last night. Decent boxing movie. I have been listening to the adam carolla podcast so it is funny to see him act, well I wouldn't call it acting...he is pretty well the same guy...lol.

Carnivale, Rome, Deadwood. All awesome. All cancelled. Carnivale hurt the most.

Carnivale hurt a lot and Deadwood ended with an overall weak final season.

Rome was the only show that felt like there was closure. And apparently a movie to continue the story is in the works! Yay.
