anyhoo...i signed up for amazon prime (student version) with my university alumni email address and ordered the blu ray standard edition a few days ago. it is now waiting for me at home. i was debating whether to get it at $22.99 or wait for a further price drop. to my surprise, amazon jacked it up to $31.98 today. im feeling like a genius right now for preordering it and having it delivered and arrive at my home on release day.
as for the difference between steelbook and regular, i've read that the regular will have a reversible cover that let's you display the case with the japanese movie artwork or the standard cover one.
