Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I'm going to Victoria this weekend and I was wondering if there are any stores around that I can check out for TF's besides cherry bomb ?

Not that I have found, other than TRU
There is a neat comic store almost kitty corner, and a hobby store about six blocks away BC Shavers and hobby, if that interests you, no TF's there though.

I always check out TRU on the way back to the ferry. Other than that Cherry Bomb is really your only option for TFs.

But Cherry Bomb is totally awesome and worth a visit even if you don't end up buying anything.

Heh, I'm sure she would agree.
I never saw that movie, but it doesn't look like what I'm into lol.
Man, just saw images of those classic movie Turtles and they're making it really hard to resist getting back into them. Days like these I regret giving my childhood ones to goodwill.

Don't forget to check out Curious Comics, just around the corner from Cherry Bomb. Not much TF toys there but chock full of other collectibles and such.

Every time I'm in Victoria I pick up a G1 figure at Cherry Bomb and the latest TF trade paperbacks from Curious Comics.

I was all set to do the same this past Victoria Day. We hit up Fan Tan Alley for my wife, then bought some new kicks for the kids at Baggins. We arrived at Cherry Bomb to find it was closed for the stat holiday, and the Curious Comics' price for the "Transformers Classics" TPB vol.1 was almost triple what amazon.ca wants for it.
Fail.
Oh well, at least my wife's cousin's wedding was at Professor Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. My kids had a blast chasing the peacocks and dancing the night away.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Aww, darn. Well, no comic shop can compete with Amazon prices. I buy there when I know I'm going to be in Victoria in the next few months, if not I go to Amazon. Too bad about Cherry Bomb though! They're usually open on the weekend when we go during Easter, but I guess they need a break sometime.
UH, okay, Hatley Park has now been added to our list of destinations. THAT LOOKS AWESOME!
