"Custom Repaint" Question.....

I never did any repaints and I want to do it on Sideswipe. I want him to look pretty similar to ROTF Video Game DLC G1 Coloured Sideswipe.

NOTE: What type of paint (Not too Expensive) do you guys use? I won't airbrush him, so that is less of an option.

The problem ........... NO Sideswipe figure.

I only want to get Human Alliance Sideswipe, but the problem is that if I painted him, it would totally screw up the figure's details.

Deluxe was in my thoughts, but rising price of $15.92 really doesn't make me want to paint him. Mainly because if I painted him and suddenly screw up, wasted $15.92 .

FAB's, Bumper Battlers, Gravity Bots, NO

Only left is Robot Replicas or Legends. But Robot Replicas, eh............ $14.92 of a non-transformable, screwed up................

Legends...... eh..... too small, but ideal!

These are my thoughts. I don't know whether you make Customs of a character or not, but if u do, regardless of the "Screwing Up" and "Overpricing" thoughts, which type of Sideswipe will u repaint?

EXCLUSIONS are FAB's, Bumper Battlers, Gravity Bots, and HA Sideswipe.

Please answer this ASAP cuz I'm really bored and want to make a custom. Please be honest in your opinions. Maybe u will change my thoughts too!

deluxe or HA for sure, the others would be pointless, as for screwing up, you're just painting it, so it won't mess up the details, you can always paint over it

I said exclude Human Alliance, and I wouldn't paint G1 Colours on him. If touch-up details, HA Sideswipe definitely need some touch-up of paint in robot mode.

then deluxe would be my choice out of legends and deluxe

Deluxe Swerve is a repaint for SS which should be out in Sept. Maybe go for the HA... then again Hasbro may repaint that too >_<
