Re: KO/CHMS vs Takara/Botcon
The acid storm was cheaper than the original too, felt looser and the nose cone was of a softer plastic.

Re: KO/CHMS vs Takara/Botcon
I have every CHMS seeker, I've had 2 of them break simply from being transformed.
The joints are either too loose or too tight, and by loose I mean rattle style loose and by too tight I mean, they could break easily.
They are great for display, but not for playing with. The official ones are a 100 times better.
Like I said, I have them all in every colour you can think of.

Re: KO/CHMS vs Takara/Botcon
My Seekers I would only display them in Robot mode. Having every Seeker mold there is, it's like looking at Starscream in different colours except for the Coneheads. The Botcon Rainmakers set is pretty pricey

Re: KO/CHMS vs Takara/Botcon
I've got CHMS versions of Sunstorm and Hotlink. I've only ever had them as display pieces, transformed each maybe twice, joints feel a little overly tight on both, but not to the point that I'm fearful of something shearing off. Again, YMMV, but if you're just having them for display, seems to do the job well enough.

Which Sunstorm is better? Orange or Yellow? is there a KO Blistream?

This sums up my experience exactly, I got 3 hotlinks and the orange sunstorm, they were a bit tight in places but were otherwise great, no issues, display great. I think it's cheaper to get these than the botcon set...plus the botcon set has the white parts mixed in which looks a bit odd...

The yellow one looks nicer, but you can't play with them at all, the quality of the KO's on the seekers is garbage.

Re: KO/CHMS vs Takara/Botcon
I have one CHMS and it is the Orange Sunstorm and it is on par with all the hasbro releases I have nice tight upper body and wobbly legs that flop all over the place
