Hey Wayne,
The thing to keep in mind is that entering your collection and denoting your Wants & Haves is far from a dead-end where you just do it for the sake of doing it.
First off our Catalogue level mass have/want engine is on it's way this week. And then, consider where we're going next:
- Automatic matching of wants and haves makes all other forms of market making obsolete. Things you own and rate poorly will result in offers from other buyers. 3 levels of purchase commitment will support prioritized product purchase and auto-delivery.
- Subscribing to catalogues means you can identify what you want when it's announced, set your max price and have vendors pick up contracts to fulfill your needs and batch send your orders straight to your house with reduced shipping and no need to hunt the big boxes
- Collection management tools will soon track your collection costs, collection value, predict future value based on product price trends, let you set budgets, borrow funds, etc, etc.
- There is also plenty of action in the works to make sure there are products within ShelfLife you won't be able to get anywhere else....
My advice is to keep checking in, things only get more exciting from here on out!
