Re: TMNT Discussion Thread (Spoilers,of course)
I thought this was fantastic. Way better than I could have hoped. Maybe because my expectations were so low going in to this.
I really like the designs of the Turtles. Splinter, I am still not a fan of. Love what they are doing with the Krang.
If they can keep this up, we've got a really good Turtles series.
Maybe if they were aliens from another planet, it would have been perfect...

More or less it will be for the first few Episodes before heading into a major arc with Shredder and the rest of the big bads.Right now,I firmly believe the writers will develop the Turtles individually (And April and Splinter as well, hopefully) before they face Shredder, find April's father,etc.,etc.
So don't fret on it.This is the default writing style of most
cartoons with continous storylines.Give it some time and enjoy the ride (Fact:They've also done this writing technique in the 2003 TMNT)

Finally saw the first three episodes here. So far, this show is pretty bad ass. I'm liking how the TMNT are portrayed more like real kids. As ninjas.... well, they suck! They're like the worst ninjas ever. And that flaw is awesome.
Kinda reminds me of why I like Transformers Animated so much. Because in that, Optimus Prime and his crew suck. Op is just middle management and the rest of the crew all have major flaws that they overcome throughout the series.
Sucking is awesome.
I can't wait for the next episode. Chuck Norris?

Agreed. Though I did like the Monster of the Week better on episode 3.
Next episode looks like it will be good.
