I spoke to customer service yesterday evening when my order still showed 'Processing' and the representative said my order was still okay, but all the systems are still in upgrade mode so that is all they can say.

I luv Toys R Us 'cause it's still the one place that goes on sale and I definitely don't want to see them go out of business, but would have been nice for them to have had all the bugs worked out before launching the 'new' site.

It's Geoffrey's big Birthday Bash this weekend, we don't want Geoffrey being upset!

According to the Toys R Us Wikipedia page, Geoffrey was born in the 50's. So they've been lying to us all this time, how many giraffe have they paraded out as being the original Geoffrey, time for some social media outrage!

So I called customer service again in the last half hour, on their system they were able to find a tracking no., my credit card has been charged and an email is "supposed" to arrive when the status changed to 'Shipped.'

I guess it is best they work out all these bugs & issues now before Thanksgiving and the holidays arrive. There's no urgency that I get Omega Supreme as soon as possible, but the little 7 year old inside me is screaming why isn't Omega Supreme here yet.

I F***ING HATE that. I tried to find something at BestBuy, something I would like to physically see IN STORE and it's all 3p retailers. Amazon and Walmart are no better. Honestly, soon brick and mortar buildings will become obsolete, no one will ever leave their homes and Wall-E is the future mixed with a dash of Idiocrasy.

But if their website is all 3p retailers (usually selling for more), then wouldn't that encourage you to go to a store and see if they have the item you want there and for cheaper?

I believe they have. Or they are working on it.
When I went into a TRU and asked them to look up a SKU, and they mentioned having a new system and still getting familiar with it. They looked things up on tablets. I don't remember seeing that before, but I don't often talk to employees about stock.

DOS is awesome. I do miss it some days.
Nowadays, it would be harder for Ferris to change his grades, or stumble into Professor Falken's backdoor and play Global Thermonuclear War.

Argh... sometimes, I don't get why people mess with stuff like this making it worse.
That was my favorite feature of the TRU site! So easy to find the new stuff! I don't think I had ever seen it elsewhere.

I caught myself going into "old-guy" mode when I noticed. Maybe they'll put it back.
