Ya, my total ended up being just over $500 CAD. The dollar to yen rate has steadily decreased since last Dec. If only I had known that, I could have paid back in Dec. (via Amazon GC's). But thats the risk when it comes to exchange rates. Oh well, I had the money saved up so it is what it is. And I should be getting MP44 today, so I'm happy with the shipping times thats for sure.

Yeah, that sucks. But $500 is all inclusive with shipping and tax. Compare to local EB price of $599.99 + tax! We also got ¥895 ($11) back.

Gah DHL. Changed my delivery address to home address two days ago and they decide to deliver MP44 to my work addy today. Guess I’m driving in to work tomorrow.

Brief recap.
498 cad shipped.
15 cad shipping + 63 cad customs
So really, that was a 420 cad toy... which translates to 315 usd today. Not too bad.
In december, it was a 390 cad toy... which translates to 292 usd.
The real problem here is the value of the Canadian dollar.

Yup I also paid $500 for red windshield wipers! Only real complaint at the moment, but I haven't had time to even transform him. Oh well, I didn't have an MP-1 or a 10.
