Figures Toppling Over | Dominos

Hey Guys,

This is a problem im encountering very often and its driving me nuts. Basically, sometimes a figure tends to fall over and whilst trying to fix it,
I end up tipping over other figures for whatever reason. And a chain of toppling figures begins...and its annoying . Any suggestions on what to do to increase stability,
and do you have any toppling stories of your own to share?

This is one my biggest fears. 2 of my 3 shelves are just open bookshelfs, so at anytime a toppling could occur and drop 5ft to the ground. Nooooooo!

Don't touch them

Seriously though, I have the same issue and the only space I have at the moment is on top of my entertainment unit which is 6ft tall and my 5ft tall front speakers. I had an unfortunate incident with my 20th anniversary Prime falling off and breaking his ankle joint. Still haven't been able to get it properly glued back together.

Two choices are: if you pose 'em, you gotta make sure that they are in a very stable pose before putting them on the shelf or you can use some kind of modeling clay or something similar to create mounting platforms that connect to their feet and hold them into place.

I usually pose and then give the shelf a good shake to test their poseability.

I also had the clay idea in mind for the rather larger and more precious figures.

I've also considered creating/buying wireframe stands to help support them.

Collect g1, problem solved lol, seriously though, try the pose on a table, make sure it's stable before putting on the shelf

Nothing like a giant Clone Army of 50+ clones to have one asshole fall over and create a domino effect. That's fun (sarcsm)

I actually make a little support rope out of fishing line across the front of each shelf so if they do go over they stay confined to the shelf and not the floor!
